QLD Sikhs is a vibrant and inclusive community organization dedicated to celebrating, preserving, and promoting the rich cultural heritage, values, and traditions of Sikhism across Queensland. As one of the fastest-growing communities in Australia, we take pride in fostering unity, inclusivity, and understanding while contributing positively to the multicultural fabric of our great state. Our mission is to create a space where individuals and families can connect, learn, grow, and thrive together.
At the heart of QLD Sikhs lies the timeless teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and the tenets of Sikhism: equality, selfless service (seva), honesty, and compassion. These principles guide everything we do, from organizing community events to engaging in charitable initiatives that uplift those in need. Whether it’s through langar (free community meals), blood donation drives, or environmental clean-ups, we are committed to serving humanity and embodying the spirit of “Sarbat da Bhala” – the welfare of all.
Our community is built on the foundation of diversity and collaboration. We celebrate festivals like Vaisakhi, Diwali, and Gurpurabs with joy and enthusiasm, inviting people from all walks of life to join us in these colorful celebrations.
